Default Roll n Lock vs ???

Hey guys,

I've searched the forum a bit and have got some good info.

I'm looking to put a cover on the truck and am bouncing back and forth between a Roll N Lock and Extang Solidfold 2.0 Mainly looking for a secure option to throw gear and my baby stuff in as well as trying to keep most of the weather out. I'm leaning towards the Roll N Lock because I would think the extang could get popped off fairly easy.

Are there any other covers I should check out or I'm missing?

BakFlip Revolver and the Truxedo Titanium would be good options. Hard rollers with no canister.

Bak-flip seems to be a really good one. look into that one, its my choice because its very functional and looks great.

Personally I'm a fan of the roll-n-lock. I like to have the security of the locking cover, but the accessibility of being able to use the full bed.

The Solid Fold 2.0 is a really good solid cover that is insanely easy to install and remove if you need to... They would be no easier to break into IMO than any other hard cover.

If you really want a retractable cover I suggest the newer versions that don't use a canister such as the BAK Revolver X2 or the Truxedo Titanium (there is an amazing deal on the Titanium through March).

If you really want the canister style I am personally far more fond of Retrax than any of the other canister style.

If I can answer any questions or get you any price quotes please let me know... we offer forum members so really great pricing.

I took advantage of Luke's awesome pricing on Truxedo Titanium. Expecting delivery today.

I love the roll and lock but stuff gets wet. It's expected but I had a soft top on prior that was much better at keeping the water out. But security was more of a concern and its solid in that aspect. I didn't want a fiberglass lid.

I have a Retrax which is now 12 years old (came off a '04) and it's been amazing. The new versions of them are even nicer. It's quick and easy to remove if i need the extra space the canister takes.
