Default Reverse sensor orientatin

I got rear ended a while ago and I had to change my bumper. I bought a Steelcraft after market bumper that has the holes for my backup sensors, however the oem brackets went with old bumper. I bought all 4 brackets from the dealership. I am going to have to modify the bumper to fit the brackets. I need to know what the orientation of the wire harness plug is. Is it horizontal, vertical, left, or right.

On mine connectors for right side sensors face passenger side, connectors for drivers side sensors face toward the left side.

To verify, all the sensor connectors face away from the trailer hitch. Is this correct?
