Default Possible cam phaser issue

Hey guys new to this forum so I apologize if I’m in the wrong section. 2009 f150 2x4 5.4 110,000 miles. So it’s happened twice now very rough idle as if truck is running on 4 cylinders, give her some throttle, nothing crazy everything smooths out. Both times were idling and on a slight uphill. My question is can I save it at least a while longer? I switched to “better” oil and only use motorcraft filters for about the last two oil changes. It was my dads truck and when he passed back in December I took the truck. Considering selling it because I really need 4x4 but would like to keep it for a while due simply to sentimental value. The truck runs great down the road otherwise.

Switch to 5W-30 and see if that does anything.

Quite possibly/likely cam phaser/timing chain issues.
