Default Reverse lights

My reverse lights and license plate lights on the rear are not working. I have checked all fuses, new bulbs. I have a 2013 F150 STX. There is no power to these lights. Anyone have ideas to fix this issue. Thanks Gary

I would first check the connector C406 just above the spare tire, aft of the rear axle, driver's side, up on the frame crossmember:

Use a multimeter and check the appropriate reverse and license plate light pins for power:

Sorry, I can't provide you a pin-out because my 2013 workshop wiring diagram doesn't appear to be fully accurate regarding C406 as it doesn't show pins for backups and license plate lights: only for turn, parking, charging, and backup sensors:

If I was to guess, it's probably one of the "unused" pins in my wiring diagram: 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, or 16.

If you get no power at the any of the pins that you believe belong to the license and back up lights, you need to trace the wires up to the Battery Junction Box and check for any damage.

Thank you sir. I have done exactly what you have suggested, unfortunately I had no success. I even checked the connect junction under the hood on the drivers side. I couldn't figure it out. I will probably take to Ford for service.

Augster, try C405 instead.

Ah, so... C405 is indeed in my wiring diagram, but wasn't really clear. The first instance of the main rear bumper harness disconnect referred to C406, and was accurately located:

But the next page, which referenced C405, was inaccurately located, and showed a "dead-end" connector:

In addition, there were no notes to indicate which wiring schematic belonged to which models, as was normally done throughout the wiring diagrams.

IDK. I see they are also reversed male/female. Weird.

Default Wiring diagrams

Where can I get the wiring diagrams package, parts of which are shown in this thread?
Thanks in advance.
