Default Reverse Bulb switchover to LED

Anybody happen to know the space available for an LED in the reverse bulb holder? Looking through the housing It looks like It's got another 0.5" of length available. I'm curious because I want to throw the most powerful LED available in the thing and give it a try. Below is the one I want to try, though it is 1.5" long, probably too long...

The other choices are on this list..

Any ideas?

Those two bulbs wont help you much!
Try these, they put out much better light... I think they're pretty nice...

Thanks! These are like a spotlight style. I was hoping for something with more light dispersal so I can have a wider viewing angle behind my truck at night. Or maybe these will do just fine? How are they on yours? Improvement over stock I presume?

^^These are pretty cool. No idea if they will fit length wise though.

Try the ones I suggested, its a difference from not knowing your reverse lights are on to being able to see when backing up! They're 3x brighter than the ****ty halogens..... I just can't bring myself to hang lights from my bumper, or Id go that route!

They'll fit, but I don't think they'll throw the light like the ones I have do....

Enough said, I'll grab two of the kind you have. I see they're made by CREE. I've been hearing on here the 150 guys are buying these LEDs. I've bought their's before. I usually go to superbrightleds.com, but these seem to be worth a try if everyone else is having good luck.

Thanks again!

x2 on what Toodman said, I have those bulbs and they barely fit in the housing but the output is great compared to the stock ones
