Returning item to autoanything.
I ordered a pace edwards switchblade from autoanything and when i put it on my truck it wouldnt stay latched and would open going down the highway. It also has huge gaps at the tailgate. The reason i bought the cover is to keep my stuff from getting wet which the huge gaps are a big problem. my question is it very difficult returning things to them. Sorry for the long back story. Thanks for the help

How big are the gaps we talking about? I just got my Switchblade cover in and going to install it in next couple days, so far from what I've seen looks to be a pretty quality kit but I haven't put it on the truck yet either.
Sorry for the late reply been busy with family christmas. The gaps were where the rails met the a smail tailgate i could put i finger in them. I even put a small piece of weather stripping on the tailgate and it still wouldnt seal off. Its like the seal at the tailgate was not long enough i could slide it back and forth. I got the undercover flex and love. It i had to have a cover this weekend and i could get the flex from amaon quick so i swapped them. Im glad i did because we had 2 in of hard rain saterday night and only had some water come from around the tailgate. Hope you have better luck with the switchblade

BTW, I had a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit cover and it leaked a LOT and didn't fit right either. I don't recommend any hard roll up or hard folding cover as they all leak and don't hold up from my experiences. Not just Pace Edwards. Had good luck with Soft covers. If you want security and weather tightness, I'd go with an Undercover Tonneau Cover or a Leer, ARE, Jason Cap.
*edit* I will say I never thought I'd like the soft cover I have (Extang Classic Platinum Soft Tonneau Cover) as much as a hard cover but I love it! Doesn't leak at all and keeps everything DRY. It was under $200, rolls up and 'completely' frees up my bed for all our bikes and camping gear. If I need security, I put everything in the back seat of the crew as it's HUGE. I usually leave it in the bed as it's a hassle to steal as I lock my tailgate and the crossbars are an obstruction to a quick grab. If they steal something, they will make it known and will be seen, but expensive things do go in the back seat of the cab.

The one thing that keeps me from buying from AutoAnything is the shipping. When I talked to them on the phone and set up my order, they insisted that I'd get free shipping even to Canada. After I paid for the item, the phoned me and told me shipping was not free. Silly me for bending over and paying the extra $100, I should've challenged it. I also paid $80 duty. Very hesitant to buy from them again.

Just received my pace edwards from autoanything. Had a 15% off sale. It was easy to install and kind of figured the back would be iffy as have seen others this way. Have had soft covers and do not like them cause they leak to much. Want hard cause gives a little resistance to break in. Shipped quick also. Will be interesting to see if stands up.

Again, I apologize for the experience you encountered.
Happy Holidays.
