Resonator tip

I picked up a 3.5 in resonator tip for my 14 EcoBoost but the in inlet is the same size as the current muffler. Any way to fix this without destroying the current muffler tip?

Do you mean the outlet of the resonator? If so, any muffler shop should be able to expand the outlet opening so that it will fit.
