Default Gorilla Lug Nuts Question

Hey Guys, just bought some 20" FX wheels and wanted to get a set of gorilla lug nuts for them to replace the crappy capped stock ones. I've read a bunch of different threads and it seems people have used various different gorilla part numbers as long as they are 14x2 threads.

My question is, has anyone tried the duplex black chrome lug nuts on the grey 20" fx wheels? Worried it won't look right. And also, which part number has been successful for those who have used them on the FX wheels.

Thanks!

I think you need to make sure the lugs you are considering have the bulge style, or something like that, to them. Most of the others do have the proper seat taper but do not have sufficient surface area for our application. I'm not having much luck finding the part number that Gorilla offers, but I'm pretty sure it's one of their newer lugs.

I posted about this last week I believe. Gorilla is supposed to be making OE type solid replacement lugs in black and chrome. The only place I have seen them advertised is on EBay and a shop near me, SFX Performance. They are showing as a new item and not yet available. The price is supposed to be around $100. I am hopeful they will be out soon. Gorilla 61108CXLBC Gorilla 61108CXL

No problem. I went by and talked to the owner of SFX Performance today and he told me he is getting in 300 or so of the black ones in this week or next. I put my name in the hat for the chrome ones and he is placing the order later this week. The chrome ones should be available in the next few weeks.

I have a set of the black ones on my truck, they look great and fit just like the factory lugs.

Thank you for this thread!
I just put a set of new takeoff 2015 Sport wheels on my '12 Lariat and the factory lug nuts leave the stud exposed (Lariat wheels have a cap).
Most other replacement nuts (even the high end ones) don't cover enough surface area.
