Default reset door entry code?

I got locked out of my truck a month or two ago and couldn't remember my entry code so upon receiving my spare keys and finally getting home my fiance' mentioned I should learn my code since it wasnt the first time I locked myself out of my vehicle. To make a long story short, I cant find the paperwork with my code on it. Is there a way to reset the entry code? Any help would be great!

When I picked up my truck, the keycode # was on a card in a pocket of the owners manual case. Have you checked that.

If the factory code isn't in your owners manual, it may be printed on a computer module in the passenger kick panel. I found a youtube video that helped, but it was slightly off. In the video the code was on the backside of the module, but mine was on the front. The procedure for resetting your personal code using the factory code is in the manual.

Check by the fuse box in side there should be a sticker in on there it will take some looking but it will be there. I found it like that on my 09 when I got it used.

Code will be printed on a sticker on or near RH kick-panel fusebox. You may have to remove the whole kick-panel trim piece to see it properly, rather than just the access to the fuse panel. Found mine on my 2011 that way - took all of 5 minutes. There's a video on You Tube.

Default You don't have to learn the stock code

There are instructions in the manual to add two codes of your choosing. Once you know the stock code, add one that's easy for you to remember. I use my keypad all the time.
