Default Replacement tailgate 2011 supercab

I do not like the tailgate with the fold out step. Can a simple tailgate replace that one?

Yes of course it can and you could probably find someone to do an even swap with you for that gate step right here in this forum maybe even get a few $$ added on top as the gate/step costs a lot more than a regular gate.

Where are you located? If you’re truck is blue and you’re close to Detroit I would be willing to trade.

I have looked at enough images of that truck to see that every one of them has the step-gate. The fenders are shaped to accommodate the shape of the tailgate. I believe a step-less tailgate is not going to be an option.

What truck do you mean? There are 2 tailgates for our trucks, one with step, one without. (there's also a camera option) They both fit on all the trucks. The step comes out of the gate away from the truck, nothing in the fenders is anywhere near this step.

I'd trade you if we weren't so far away, too.

2011 F-150 XLT Extended cab.

I see I made two mistakes. One, I didn't identify the truck. and two -- I assumed the step-gate and the non-step gate had different shapes. Genius level. So you say they both look like this in profile..
