Default replace struts and shocks.

Well yall I need some help. I decided that I am going to leave my truck at stock height. But my front shocks are gone. What brand would yall recommend or if I did coil overs which ones. I would have them set to stock height. Or maybe a little bit higher to accommodate my each hand front bumper.

Thanks nichel

Nichel-I just bought and installed Bilstein 5100s on all corners and I love it so far. The ride is firmer but not rough, I feel more in control and there is less body roll. They're affordable and have great reviews. I have young kids so I was worried about some of the other members' experience with them being too stiff but I haven't found that to be the case at all. The best deal i was able to find was through Amazon for about $325 with free shipping.

Thank you. I was thinking about them as well and just set them to factory height. The main thing is my trucks feels like the right wheel is jumping over big holes. Plus I also wanted something to help with my bumper since it weighs more and then I will be adding a winch on top of that.

F150Lifts.com BOSS for sure. You can dial in as much or as little ride height as you want. The ride is impeccable too. You can run Fox at stock height too.

The associated costs of Bilstein vs. Fox, I think the former is a better economical option than the latter.

Bilsteins are fine. BOSS and Fox are better and allow for infinite adjustability for the user. To each their own. I'm glad I went BOSS over Bilsteins.

Sounds like you might want to go with a set that has a stiffer aftermarket coil spring .. like the BOSS or Fox , these are all ready to go bolt them on and go but not cheap 700-1000 on the low side ... Or you can always go with the less expensive Bilstiens or Pro Comp Pro runners (Pro Comp Pro Runners only has two settings Factory and 2.5 " level no spanner wrench needed ) ..The Boss coil over shocks have a 16" 700lb Eibach coil spring and the Fox's have a 16" 650 lb Eibach ...Both run about 100.00 ea , Kings run about 70-90.00 ea which is most likely the direction I'll go its not super cheap but well worth it IMO .... The oem coil springs are junk unless you like a mushy sloppy handling ride
...
Do yourself a favor and do it all at one time , I have Pro Comp Pro Runners which used the OEM coil springs .. the shocks are OK but I wish Id thought of changing out the oem coil spring when I had the Pro comps installed ... now I have to do the coils myself . .but for me its a must do mod I can't stand the body roll in this truck .... Cant wait for my Tax return so I can get this truck handling more to my liking ...

Very true, I got the Bilsteins only for the time being but when I get to my next work assignment I plan on installing Fox coil overs, new springs and a few other goodies that I can actually use out in the desert.

We have (4) sets of Fox Coilovers in stock, ready to ship...anyone that wants the Fox! Questions, just give us a call! We probably have (50) sets of Boss Coilovers in stock, also.
