Replace my lariat grille
I have a 09 with the chromed grille and Im looking to put either a billet bar style or a blacked out grille. Only problem is because lariats have a chrome surround they don't sell these for my truck. I'd probably have to buy an entire grille. But... I can't find any of those either. Any lariat or platinum owners dealt with this.

contact tasca parts, you need a grill from a fx4/stx/xlt. not sure if this link will work for you but try this:

They dont come painted, so you would have to get it painted and then buy the grille insert. i think this is the best look for these trucks, i hated the chrome grille on my lariat and changed it out right away.

I just finished replacing my XL grill with an XLT chrome version. If you are interested in buying a black XL model, I would suggest buying new. It is the least expensive version, and it is guaranteed to still have all the upper retaining clips. I'm going to hang on to my old one for now.
As far as which grilles will fit, I think they are all interchangeable.

I am stuck in the same boat. I have the Lariat grille and hate that I can't at least chop it up and use the surround to fit a blacked out grille. Now I just have to wait until the Lariat Limited grille is available though Tasca. It is chrome surround and white six bar. It kills me to spend over 600 bucks just to change the look of the front grille. I may end up getting a FX2 grille and having it painted, just wish I could keep the chrome surround.
