Default Remote start problems, please help

Hello, I have the remote start and alarm system on my 2010 platinum and I've been having issues lately. When I remote start the truck, it will run for about 3 seconds and then shut off and the horn honks as if the alarm was triggered. When I hit unlock the horn honks 3 times, but there are no open doors. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or is it worth a trip to the dealer? I have the premium warranty but Im not sure if this is covered

Factory alarm? Then yes head to the dealer. IMO alarm systems in vehicles are useless. People for the most part ignore them. If you can have it reversed and just instal a starter it keeps things simpler. I have had alarm systems in two vehicles when I was younger and they were more headache then they were worth. Good luck!

All electronics are covered under the 3 - 36 warranty unless they are physically damaged or modified.

As previous post stated, it should be as long as not modified. Worse case scenario is they remove the product if they can not fix it.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll try that this weekend and if that doesn't work I'll take it in. I do have almost 80,000 in under 3 years so if it might be covered it would be under my extended warranty.
