Default Remote start issue

I have da8z-15603-a remote antenna installed, enabled on forscan.
programmed key to start truck, programmed remote...
It unlocks doors but won't remote start the truck
When I listen down by dash where remote start is installed I can hear a click but that's all.

Suppose my antenna module da8z-15603-a is bad?
Thanks

Might be a silly question, but have you confirmed that the truck has the hood pin switch?

Good question
but yeah have the hood pin.

I had an aftermarket key first that wouldn't take the pats programming but yet it remote started the truck once...then wouldn't do it again.
Sent it back

Got this one from a different source, pats programmed, but won't remote start.

Think I should disable remote start for a bit, uninstall.
Then install and re enable, kinda like a reset for the remote start module?

Did you check in the 4” cluster on the dash to make sure you have the options turned on? As long as the keys are programmed, the hood pin is installed and working correctly, and the options in the dash are on, then maybe it’s a faulty part. Maybe recheck to make sure it stayed enabled in FORScan also

If you didn't use a genuine Ford key you found the problem. Cheap after market keys are hit and miss, mostly miss.

Probably the issue, remote start keys are $230 at dealership in Canada.
If I can't get figured by fall I might have to bite the bullet ☹️

Tried programming the fob again this morning and after the 8 key turns and waiting for the locks to cycle to signify the end of programming, I notice the red message in cluster "starting system fault"
guessing that means fob is bad

Fob part might be ok but the key itself is bad. Most likely neither work.

It's weird because it starts truck in the ignition but won't remote start
