Recently switched from 87 to 92 a nd am seeing about 1mpg better. Haven't done the math to see if I'm coming out ahead or not, but I prefer to use higher octane in forced induction engines. Also hoping better gas will improve winter mleage

I've been running 93 Shell and Valero the last three fill ups and noticed my Ecoboost is getting about 1 mile to the gallon better...performance seems to be better also. Ran only 87 since the truck was new. Don't like the extra 30 to 40 cents a gallon more but when driving a $50K plus truck why skimp!

I ran 6 tanks of premium thru my truck and saw no increase in fuel economy. I did this experiment last year. I run 87 octane and by the bulk of my fuel from non ethanol stations. I see a ~2mpg decrease when using ethanol gas, the brand didn't matter.

I did note a slight increase in throttle response on premium, but nothing to brag about....

Wish we could get non-ethanol here reasonably . We have 1 place and they want 80 cents over premium for it

I run 91 non-ethanol and have noticed slightly better mpg (1-2 mpg). I perceive a power increase too (maybe it's in my head). The biggest part for me is that, being in Iowa, most of our 87 is ethanol and the non-ethanol 87 is 25 or 30 cents more per gallon. From there, its only a slight premium for the non-ethanol 91.
