Default recall transmission

Dealer fixed mine two days ago. I had gotten a letter, made appointment and dropped it off Sunday eve. 9 AM Monday they called to say it was done.

Default Issues after recall

Got mine done yesterday. Got the truck back all kinds of messed up. Rpms drop low when stopping or idling in gear or after reving. Kicked when taking off in 1st. Took it back after driving halfway down the service road from the dealer, about 300 yards. Told them fix whatever it was and they tried to charge me diagnostic fee whenever my truck was just fine before. This morning I went back and got it she said they reprogrammed it and I didn’t have to pay. It is a LITTLE better but still not how it was before I got this recall done. You guys think they’ll redo mine once everything is fixed? Really not happy with it right now

I see you’re in Louisiana, other people have said they couldn’t get an update for the eco. I’m curious to see where in the countries (Canada and USA) ecoboost updates are available. I mentioned in one of these numerous recall threads it’s not available here in SW Ontario.

maybe people could post up location in their posts. Not everyone fills in location when they sign up to he site.

I think it is only the 2013 3.5 EcoBoost that isn't ready yet.

I received the recall letter but it said they would send me another letter when the fix was available.
