Default rebates

Anyone have any idea when Ford may up the rebates on the 09 f150? I am looking to get a great deal on a new one. I want the best deal possible.

Looks like current rebates run through 6/30, so I'm not to sure if they will offer more before then, especially since sales went up in March over February. Maybe if you wait until the 2010's come out in the late fall, but deals now are pretty good. Most people are buying at invoice, then getting $3K back OR 0% financing. If you're a Costco member, sign up for their auto purchasing program online...you'll bypass all the BS and get invoice pricing from the get go from a few local dealers. Then play them off one another. Good luck!

If you wait until September or October, I'm sure the rebates will be better than now.

I spent some time analyzing this. Although the rebates will likely be better in late summer early fall as they look at clearing out 09s, you will also have to get a truck that is ready on a dealer's lot.

You won't be able to get a factor order.

This means you might have to be flexible on colour and options.

If you want for a less popular setup - like the 157" wheel base for example, or a specific set of options that you just cannot live without, then you are better off getting your order in NOW while the dealer can still factory order.
