Default Rear window leaking

My rear window (windshield) is leaking pretty significantly. My seats are pretty wet. Its leaking right in the middle, and on each side where the glass starts to curve down. Would this be something covered under warranty?

Hard to believe this continues for years. They should offer free raincoats to wear while driving the new 2015 model.

Likely third brake light. The gasket dries out on many F150's and it will cause a mysterious leak down the middle of the back seat and sometimes runs across the top of the head liner and down one of the outer seats. I'd say that's the first area to check for a quick fix. Just needs to be unscrewed and sealed up with sealant, then re-seated. Mine was fixed instantly on my old 2010, just at the local auto glass shop, as it was out of warranty. Now with my 2011 Ecoboost, this issue hasn't shown up yet, but I'm sure it will in the future. Good luck!

Ill have to check the third brake like. It's a 2009 so might be time for a new one anyways with a new seal.

One of the first things I did was seal the 3rd brake light, and I did the XM antenna too while I was up there.

These forums have provided me with a wealth of knowledge, what to do, what not to do. This place is absolutely invaluable. Except, of course, when you consider that it's awfully hard not to mod when you read posts In that vein, I've "lost" a few grand on stuff - but it's all good

My rear window leaked as well. I live in Alabama where in the summer it's hot and humid the seal ended up dropping out of the track and had a local glass shop replace it for about $125. Local dealer wanted almost $200.

If the gasket is still ok but dried out, just re-seal. My glass shop sealed it at no charge, and never leaked since.

Mine was a little beyond repair. I work night shift most of the time so my truck sits in the sun at the house in 100+ degree. They said it ended up melting the seal.
