hey fella's I just picked up a 09 lariat with the nav/sync system and id like to get a factory looking rear view camera, in the tailgate handle would be the best, I have sync and I read that the mic is in the rear view mirror so I cant go aftermarket that way cause I wont have a mic? correct me if I am wrong

also I want to put 2 headrest screens in the back... can I run them off my in dash dvd player? I know you need to by pass it somehow but there has to be a way..

i have installed gentex camera mirrors i have removed the internal board in the factory mirror and relocated the mic extending wires but ford has a external mic they install as a t.s.b for people that complain about not hearing them on sync.
try boyo camera if you cant find a ford one.
try ford 360 lockpick for factory dvd output
you can get ford to send out the nav unit to program it to turn on in reverse but you will need to make a plug i have did this on a f350 it worked good
