Default Raptor E-Locker swap

So I have been slowly doing the Raptor swap on my 2010 Lariat super crew. So far have the complete front suspension done. Picked up a Torsen front axle and that will be going in at some point. Looking to install a Raptor rear axle as well. how involved is the install for a truck that does not have an elocker in it? Ive seen threads on a few sites about the install in trucks with existing elockers requiring the Raptor TCCM and it was basically plug a nd play. What am I looking at for a truck w/o elocker in it. What other parts would I need?

Probably need to confirm if the plug is at the rear axle first. I would think if the harness is there you should be good to go. You will need both the raptor TCCM and 4WD switch. I have them installed in my 2011 with factory e-locker and it works perfect.

That's what I've been reading on several forums, but that's for trucks with existing lockers. I just have the 2Hi 4Hi 4Lo...don't have the locker. No harness as I can see.

I’ve done this already and it’s very straightforward. It’s simply a matter of populating the missing connections (two for diff and three for switch, routing to tccm) and adding in a fuse or two and all will function as originally intended. Use the switch and tccm for e diff equipped models. Since you have a 2010 use the 2009/2010 tccm. I used a 2010 raptor tccm on a 2009 with 2011+ raptor switch.

Id have to look and see if I still have the pin out ID but it’s the same for all 2009-2014.

thanks for the info. What about the harness? Since my truck was not originally built with a locker I assume I need to purchase a new harness that would connect, correct?

Purchasing a harness is an option….I simply made my own (it’s only a few wires).
