Default rail dust

So ford "took care" of my rail dust with their acid neutralizing wash. It came back. I clayed my truck but as soon as we get salt on the roads it comes back. I don't have time to clay it every month and ford basically told me its my problem. Anyone have any ideas or solutions that have worked????? I am at the point now that I feel like I should trade it in after claying it so I don't have to deal with it. Its a 2010 screw in white. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Yep white is good for hiding dust and scratches but is a biotch for this ( little surface rust specs) my 11' w 4k miles has this after this mild winter. It happened to my last car 2008 MazdasPeed 3 but it was black and hard to see. Let me know if you got any fixes although I doubt you will find any beside moving to the south. I even had the perma plate put on that the dealer offered. I don't remember having these problems with my cars made in the 90's.

You can rub it off with like you nail it's not permanent but it little specs that look like rust specs. Claybar fixes until the bast tards return.

Just wondering if certain paint colors are more prone to this than others. I know there is an extra cost for candy red. Does anyone know if candy red is a better quality paint?

Friend had 2011 lariat with rail dust and Dealer or ford allowed him to swap for a new one. He had it for about a month before taking it back and upgrading to 2012 platinum

Yeah like said earlier white is a biitch for showing this but even on your candy red or any darker color it's there you just can't see it as much just like any rust. You still need to remove it with claybar in early spring if you live up north.

I keep three coats of Liquid Glass on mine, and I have never gotten it. However I do live in the south.
