Default Quick styling question...

I have a 2012 Supercab with the chrome package. I have the opportunity to swap head lights and tail lights with a 2011 FX4. The only reason I want the Fx4 lights is because of the black lining they have around the edges, instead of chrome. I originally thought this might look cool but since I won't have the opportunity to switch back after a few days, I'm not sure what to do. I can post some before and after photos once it's complete.

Heres my XLT with FX heads. Looks much better IMO

Unfortunately I don't have a rear pic here at work, but looks just as good.

I apologize for not putting the color in there originally. My truck is sterling grey so it's the light grey they made in 2012, slightly lighter than the 2011 grey.

I love the bike kbexperience and that picture is pretty convincing. I'm going to put them on Friday and post pictures.

Thanks bro! It would look even better on sterling grey IMO. Especially the rear.

i'd say get the taillights and leave the headlights as is. the front end flows better with the chrome than the rear. the front it's like the headlights are part of the grill with the chrome. the rear is separated by the bumper and tail lights. i'd prefer the FX tail lights on darker colors like yours. if it was white or silver i'd say leave it all chrome.

IMO if you want the FX light look juts buy the head lights and nite shade the tails. That way if you want to go a bit darker or light well you can decide. I did mine real dark but still visible and i love em. Almost through the winter and still looks great.
