Question about towing.
Ok I towed my boat for the first time yesterday and have to say I was extremely pleased with the way my truck towed it. I have a Dodge 4x4 Quad cab Hemi before with and the Ford seemed to tow the boat easier than the Dodge. Actually I hardly felt the boat. I was happy with the results.
One thing I did notice is when I hooked up the boat to the hitch my truck dropped over 1.5" in the back. Now this actually made my truck level actually it was 1/4" lower in front than back so basically level.
My issue is I want to install a 1-2" level and if I do this then truck will look like it is running up hill when towing. If I go with the blisten 5100 would they help this since I can set the back blistens 1" high in the back or should I do something else?
Thanks in advance.

Add some "airbags" in the back and you'll be able to raise the level even with 10k lbs.
Firestone or airlift have a model that fits our trucks.

I had airlift on my 2004 Titan, with compressor in bed and pressure gauge inside cab. Took 3 hours to install the whole thing, best mod for the money. combined with leveling kit it works perfect for 6.5 years.
I replaced bith bags because they were almost through because of rubbing while loaded on bumpy roads. They were cheap and easy to replace.
They are going in my F150 Scab Lariat ASAP...
along with AMP research boards, mud flaps, and tailgate step (man step) and side steps...

At no load, they are only supposed to have 5psi in them. From everything I've read it is supposed to be no change in ride. I will post my findings, as I need to hook up one more wire and I'll be golden. I got the wireless command system for mine, which is a bit more complicated on the install.
You could add a leafspring if you didn't want the airbags. But there again you would be lifting the rear up defeating the purpose of the level in the front unless you did it to fit bigger tires.
