I'll add one more discount warranty provider (they say they sell them for $100 over cost).

I've purchased (and used) Ford ESP's from them. They're FD-warranty.com. Troy Dietrich is the guy. They don't have a pretty web site with ready-made prices but they do very well on the prices.

I'm not affiliated with Troy or Fd-warranty.com other than being a repeat customer. He sells them for other manufacturers too. But yes, this IS the Ford ESP.

I got the PremiumCare ESP for 7 years, 100k miles and $100 deductible for $1259. 4x4 is a little extra and I did not opt for the rental option. The dealer wanted double that.

I think all the "internet" dealers of the FORD ESP are pretty reputable (and all are Ford Dealers).

The pricing varies from dealer to dealer. Last time I checked all 3 was in March, and they were all within ~200 of each other.

If I get super-bored one day, i'll compare my coverage with each one of these to see who the price leader is now.

Lets see, we got
FloodFord
Zeigler
Lombard
anderson-koch
FD-warranty.com

http://www.troy-ford-extended-warranty.com/

http://www.fordwarrantys.com/ (LOMBARD)

http://fordespwarranty.com/ (LOMBARD)

http://lombardfordesp.com/ (LOMBARD.....getting annoying with so many variations in search engine).

http://broadwayfordesp.com/ (NEW? wasn't around in March)

Thanks nyxltregcab and gregsf150stx! Well I guess I'll swallow the $500 or so that it cost me and chalk it up as a lesson learned. This forum has been very helpful, too bad I joined too late.

Thumbs up reviving this one for a comment

My dealer's finance guy just couldn't seem to get his head in the game this time when I ask for the price of a 7/7500 $50 deduct premiumcare plan. He wanted $1730.00. I told him that I could get it cheaper online to give him a chance to deal, but it didn't happen. I checked, and Flood was the cheapest for right now at $1110.00 for the plan. I filled out the form, and within 7 days I had the contract and a copy of my invoice. Really pleased with the quick turnaround, and saving 630 bucks.

Not sure why everyone is saying Flood Ford is cheaper....
This. The truth is every one of these places (online or not) is dealing with the same basic price, it's just a matter of what they're willing to be bargained down to. Just keep calling legitimate ESP places and trying to get better offers. I went with Warrick Ford Warranty Online (http://www.warrickfordwarrantyonline.com) and got a great price, but that was probably as much luck and timing as anything. Just keep shopping around, you'll get a deal. The dealerships tend to push the hardest and bend the least in my experience, so online has many benefits.
