"reduces wear by 98%".....and they don't say compared to what?......ANY oil reduces wear, and what if the 98% is DOWN from 99.5% compared to Mobil 1?
Saying only what they say means absolutely nothing!
And, when was the last time anyone you knew or heard about ANYWHERE in the motorized world had an "oil related failure?"
For any of us to say that they've had "good luck" with their currently used oil is saying only that they are using it.......oils just don't "fail" anymore......

What exactly IS a really comment? They did pose a real question which was 98% as to what? 98% reduced engine wear from your current oil seems like quite a steep task, therefore most should be awfully skeptical of such a bold claim. Therefore I would seem to think the poster did in fact have a point, even if a little humor was infused.

ETA: oh looks like others have already covered this.

The 98% claim got me thinking (always a dangerous thing, I know):

Does their claim mean that your engine is going to wear out 2% for every mile driven?.....oil should reduce your engine wear (once warmed up) to near zero.

No idea what their comparing the 98% againest..like someone else posted Mobil 1 claims 99% reduced wear....I guess we'll soon see an oil company claim 100%...who knows.....I posed the question in the beginning to see if anybody has used QS Defy oil and what they might know about it. I'd never heard of it till saturday night watching the QS 400 race in Kentucky...seemed as QS was really pushing it alot in the commercials.

How do you get that I'm mad, by just asking a question.....I can promise you that's not even close to me being mad.......all china made products are pretty much junk.....but thats the american way, nobody wants to pay the price it would take to produce it here...so more and more companies go overseas to make it cheaper and put americans out of a job. I spent 25 years in the textile business, today its all most impossiable to find any kind of garments that are still made here...most made in china or other places with child labor and low wages......so, hope you and everyone else have a happy and safe 4th.
