Default Putco Tailgate Light Bar

Got one of these yesterday and really like the effect. Does anyone know before I attempt wiring the reverse light wire to the tail lamp, which wire is my reverse one? I have a 2010 F150. The other harness for turn signal and brake is plug and play into my trailer hitch. Videos online show taking off the tail light assembly and finding the reverse wire to splice into. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm a novice to wiring. Thx.

If you have the 4&7 prong connector if just tap into that. That's what I did.

Awesome. Thanks. So just tap into the center wire then?

I just ordered one of these from Amazon last night...the reviews were great, and I don't know if you've read them or not, BUT some do recommend making sure the right and left turn signal lights are oriented correctly BEFORE attaching, as the plug may make them reversed...

Funny you say that. The instructions said to have the harness in the right side but when I plugged it in before mounting, it was reversed, so the harness now goes toward the left for my signals to work properly. FYI.

Is this the one that they sell at autozone? If it is they don't last very long at all.. At least it didn't for me.

My trailer harness will not work. I can't get the clip off at the reverse light on the tail lamp to tap in. Before I bare wires does anyone know from the picture which if the two will power my light?
