Just a good leather conditioner works fine. That's what I use. The leather is your standard stuff, not like the King Ranch.

Haha, I did the opposite, I traded in my 2010 Platinum for a Lariat. I wanted another Platinum but they sold the last one right before I got there. I was going to dealer search for one, but I drove the Lariat and actually loved it. The only differece I could see is some of the cosmetics in the interior, other than that, the Lariat is pretty damn close to a Platinum. This truck actually has more bells and whistles than my 2010. I am in love with the seats and the ecoboost. The Platinum is still a better looking truck, but something different for me this time.

Lots of luck and get ready for all the love you will get from people

I use the Meguiars gold class in the pump on all my leather seats. Used it in my last 2 Platinum also. I pretty much use Mothers and Meguiars for everything car, truck and Harley related.

Are your seats like the one's in the King Ranch? If that is the case I would call the dealer and find out what to use. I know the King Ranch has a certain kind of leather. My last 2 Platinums were just regular leather.

Thank's...I looked at the '13 Lariat's and they looked great but looked too much like my '11...saw the Platinum and looked at the interior and I was sold. Easier for MawMaw to get into the cab with the retractable step's too!

Yeah I miss those retractable steps. The steps on the lariat are little to high and set in to far more me, those retractable are just perfect. I can only get my toes on the step. I would like to remount mine somehow, just get em a little lower. If I was 20 again I would have no problem, but I am getting slower these days.

Anyone wants to chime in that has remounted the factory steps, I would sure like to hear what you did. Thanks.

Put those running boards on craigslist and install some Amp power steps (which are what come with the platinum)

I installed some on my lariat when I got it and never looked back.

Not doing too much on this one...put in the Husky liner's and the Ford bed mat from my old truck. Window tint and maybe a Bak Flip cover next.

Lexol PH cleaner and Lexol Conditioner do the trick.

If you want to get crazy, check out Leatherique products. As most have said, the leather in FX4, Lariat, and Platinum is coated, so it does not require the care that King Ranch leather does.
