Has anyone pulled bedsides on an 09+ 6.5 bed? If so, how far can they be pulled? Any pictures of the finished product? Thanks.

Lol you aren't going to find anyone on this forum that's done that. Try asking on dezert Rangers or racedezert

As in to flare them out like a Raptor? My dad owns a bodyshop, which I worked at for several years, and I don't think that's even possible.

You can get fiberboard box sides that look just like the Raptor for pretty cheap, from Fiberworx.

Or are you talking about pulling them straight after a collision?

buy a 2nd set of bed sides, cut them and flare as needed, splice in extra material from 2nd bed sides. pretty normal stuff on the pro-touring forums for fitting larger wheels on the cars.

Yes I know how it's done. The body lines on the bed may not play nice when pulling them ie creasing almost immediately. I'm trying to avoid the pain of installing fiberglass bedsides. Really I just need to pull them about 1" - 1 1/2".

pulling the sides out w/o splicing in new material will look like crap. its going to flatten out the crease around the opening.
