No, but its either that or we find a code writer or can the folks that do tuners help us? or we get the hack to work.

I wonder if the aftermarket programming providers eg: SCT etal could add in a/c compressor control, that would be fantastic as it's a lot more portable than a laptop and less expensive than IDS.

2 Teams actually. And the country of Kenya. I live in Texas and I think I have used my a/c twice in the 2 years I've had my truck, only cause the wife was in the truck and didn't wanna hear it ha. I use the 4-80 rule, 4 windows down 80MPH. I understand that we payed a lot of money for these rolling boxes, but if sh!tty a/c is my biggest complaint at this moment, I'm happy with my purchase.

I manage a mechanic shop, I'm out in the heat all day. It doesn't bother me, sometimes I kick the a/c on when I'm on blacktop asphalt to help with radiant heat, but rarely. The Harley doesn't have any a/c, still bought that

Man I dunno, one thing I forgot to mention in original post is I got that low temp by controlling the a/c clutch but also added at least 12 more oz's Freon to the system. Going to edit original post now.

Pretty sure even with what it comes with would most likely get it a lot lower than what people are finding.

In all fairness though, the fact that you guys are accomplishing this is pretty cool. In all honesty you could probably just changed to an expansion block that allows the pressure to stay low for longer therefor keeping the clutch engaged longer. IF said block exists, with correct diameter inlets and such. Maybe from a different Ford product circa same age

Its apparent now that the 24 ounces is capable within the system! No bad TXV'x, no bad evaporator temp probes!

If you look at the original hack probe, folks said they froze their coils, I believe. So its not a freon level, its programming!
