I know this is like beating a dead horse and has been discussed over and over but I have a few questions before I spend ~$500 on a tuner. I have an 09 FX4 5.4L. I drive 85-90% highway, 20k+ per year. Right now I get 16-16.5 hand calculated mpg on my truck and do all my maintenance regularly at the local ford house. My question is and one with custom 87 fuel economy tunes improve my mpg? If so how much, 2-3? Which tuner is the best bang for the buck for my needs? Thanks in advance

 

From what i have seen most of the forum members go with custom tunes from either 5star or MPT.
