Did you install a hood switch? I know i had a problem recently when my hood switch got bent down a little. Wouldn't RS, it would just honk (thinking the hood was open).

I'm just trying to help. Make sure the doors are closed and locked. When I think I've hit my button to make sure they're locked it'll flash that I didn't do it properly and won't start.

For what it's worth, my 13 will start with the doors open.
You still have to hit the lock button first before hitting the start button 2X, but it will still start.
The only time I've had it not start is with the hood open or if I forgot to put it in park before shutting it off.
Even if I put it in park before removing the key, it won't remote start the next time.
It has to see park before key off.....

Since you have a 2010, the all-in-one key won't work. The key you got is for 2011-2014 as they have "built in" remote start. The 2011-14's require a separate antenna to be installed as the remote start button operates off a different frequency. The lock, unlock and panic buttons should still work but the vehicle won't respond to the remote start.

I assume you have the kit installed and the separate fob is working now?

What system did you install in your truck?

The 2009-2010 Truck Ford Remote Start uses a separate Fob. The 2x Integrated keyhead key will not work on those model years with the Series 100 Remote start or Series 200 Remote Start/Security system.
