Default Problems with new paint

Well, I picked the truck up Monday. I noticed three small problems with the paint after I signed the paperwork. I wasn't able to see until after they detailed it.

There were two small paint chips on the drivers door edge, through all three layers. And one scratch in the rear left corner, through the clear coat.

I dropped it off yesterday for their painter to fix it, but he didn't come in today. So now I have to cancel my appointment for the Line-x bed liner and undercoating, and bring it back next Tuesday for them to fix.

I'm pretty disappointed at the fact that I paid 35k for something that was supposed to be perfect. I don't know what to do.

Thank you guys, I know there are more important things. That is a good way to look at it.

I have wanted a truck like this since I got my license, finally was able to do it. I guess I'm glad it wasn't me to make the first mark.

The first one sucks but having my for 3 years now I have chips all across the front bumper and little scratches. I just got DR. Colorchip and it works really well even with ones down to primer. I know they are there but unless you're looking for them you can't tell from a distance.

Hi 13'scsb5.0,

Let me lend a hand. Send me a PM with your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info. I'll see how I can help.

I'd be happy with chips compared to what I've got on mine. My right rear cab corner has 2 spots of trash that look like welding slag that were painted over. Sucks because they catch all my towels every time I wash the truck and pull the fibers loose :/
