Default Powered subwoofer

I'm wanting to round out the music in my Supercrew, but I don't want to break the bank on subs/box/amp. I've done a little research and it looks like a powered subwoofer is the way to go. I'm looking for recommendations on brand/quality. I'm wanting to stay under $300 or so after sub/installation. I know there's not a lot to installing one, but I'm not electrically inclined AT ALL, so don't wanna risk shorting something out in my truck.

Kicker SubStage. All plug and play super easy to install yourself (about 1-2 hours).

I'm also exploring options. Anyone know if there's anything that will fit behind the back seats in the Supercrew (that very small space)?

Yes, the one I posted will fit fine.

Rescue, is it relatively easy for a novice to install? That's what I've been recommended by a few people who all say they love it. I just don't want to pay my local stereo shop another 100-150 to install it.

Also, I'm considering getting the alpine 445u to power my door speakers. I've watched videos and read posts about installing it, but still not quite comfortable doing it. Any experience with that?

I just ordered one of these to go under the back seat. Not expensive at all. I already have an amp so no cost for me there. Now for some shallow mount subs.

I haven't had time to mount and fix whatever is rattling.

I can get pictures this weekend if anyone wants them!

I've got two of the Sound ordnance's behind the seat on my SCREW. No modifications at all... simply fold the back of the seat up and it wedges them in without sliping around.

I've had for about 2~3 years now and one of them is starting to cut out... however I will not overlook that it may be something in the wiring I did. Easy to install.. used the PAC FRD/OEM-1 to connect to back of stock radio.

As Mudweiser said... Sounds good... nothing super... not impressing the kids outside the vehicle with it. BUT it fills the cab with a nicer/fuller range.

It's interesting to me that you did not have to modify to get them to fit! I had to cut a small area in the fabric where I was placing the sub. I do wish I could figure out where the rattle is coming from.
