Default Power windows malfunction?

The window operating system in my 2012 crew cab seems possessed. The four windows in the cab along with the sliding rear window works intermittently. I am able to successfully operate the both rear windows from the driver side control switch when the child safety lock is engaged, but not all the time. The windows often do not function when the child lock is disengaged. The window controls never work when pressed from the rear even when the child lock is disengaged. The rear sliding window seems to function more consistently when the child lock is engaged, however, a buzzing sound can be heard occasionally when the button is pressed to open and/or close. To complicate things further, the driver side front control works just fine and the power lock function works intermittently on the rear driver side door. It does not lock when the lock button is pressed on neither key fob, driver and passenger side controls, nor the exterior key pad. I'm wondering if a bad control switch perhaps on the driver side has gone bad, thus shorting out the other switches???? Perhaps there is a main control hub that isn't sending signals to operate the windows and door lock properly. Any thoughts on the culprit causing this problem? Thanks in advance for your suggestions/info.
