My 07 Tundra Crewmax Ltd rear window was solid and did not rattle at all in any position. I really love that window idea.

Reminds me of my old Bronco that I used to love to drive around with all 3 windows down... that rear window never rattled on me, even though it did break once on a really cold snowy night with the defrost on... I miss it.

I've always wondered if the Bronco was the reason that Ford doesn't do the power rear window - I was looking at Broncos, and it's damn near impossible to find one that has a working window that has never been replaced.

I know on my 2010 F150 XLT 4 door there is a power source/plug for what I am assuming is for the power window even though I do not have the sliding window. I found that it has power when the ignition is on; this is where I tied my remote power wire into for my amp. It is behind the rear seat so I would imagine all you would need is the factory window and then find the plug behind the dash to install the switch to.

Hmmm...I may have to look into doing this upgrade next year. No need to do it now as it's starting to get cold here and no real need for an extra window. But thanks for all the info guys.

The Sport Trac has a power rear window, since the first generation in 2000.
I kinda miss that feature in the F150... But not enough to go back

It may make you feel better to know the power window, I think, has had a lot of issues. Granted mine is an '05, but it currently doesn't work. My impression is that this has been the case with a lot of them.
