Recently noticed both my left and right power mirrors have stopped working. Checked the fuses and all seems well, I cannot hear the motors trying to move. Has anybody experienced this before? I'm thinking the next step is to pull the switch and see if they will work with the harness jumped, but I'm not sure whether it just pops out or if I need to pull the door panel to get it out?


FWIW this is a XLT with the basic power mirrors.

 

Could there be a chance of snow or ice that built up behind the mirrors?
