My '13 FX4 regular size power fold mirrors have started acting up. When I fold them in and lock the truck, everything is good. When I unlock the truck with the door keypad, the mirror starts trying to adjust itself in one direction, over and over. When the mirror reaches its limit it "pops" back to its original position. This happens until I either switch the know selector to change the mirror angle or start the truck. Only happens on the drivers side.

Anyone else notice this or have this happen. I'm thinking of pulling the battery cable to reset the truck.

Does nobody have this issue? It seems to be happening whenever the mirrors are folded now

 

Other than having the dealer look at it, I don't have a solution except to use the key fob to unlock the door instead of the door keypad.

 

Ok thanks. I don't think it's a big enough issue to take it to the dealer unless I'm having other more important work done. I'm just out of my bumper to bumper warranty anyway.
