Default Pop and Lock Auto tailgate lock

Just got my pop and lock today!!! Sick and tired of having to check and see if I locked my tailgate or not. I don't understand how ford couldn't make this standard option ??^&%^&^!!! Just have to wait for better weather to come around

Mine has had over a year over abuse and works just as good as the day I bought it and installed. I love mine.

I bought a door lock actuator off ebay and made my up my own wiring harness and figured out a way to attach it. Total cost was maybe $30 if you count the price of the wire, electrical connectors, tape, and shrink wrap that I already had. Mine has been in at least 6 months with no issues.

One of my favorite upgrades. I went the amazon route and bought a generic actuator.

Is the part call pop in lock ? Or something else, is this a plug and play part or do you need to mod something to get it to work ?
