I figured I'd do a little write up on this 2$ mod after i did it last night. Sounds better thats for sure and it only took around 10 minutes. FOR ALL THOSE WHO DO IT make sure you dont put too much pollyfill or it wont sound any different so just play around with the amount till you get it right but its not to hard to do i just used the factory stuffing and used its cushiness/density as a gauge to know how much polyfill to stuff the box with.

I went down to Walmart and grabbed a polyfill pillow for 2$ drove home, cut the pilow open, unbolted the sub from the bottom of the box, took out the BS factory stuffing, filled it with about 1/5 of the pillows pollyfill, screwed the sub back in. Done deal best 2$ mod i know

 

Can you perhaps slam up the pictures of this? And maybe show the aproximate amount you put in the box? Iv heard about this but i wanna make sure its done properly. thanks!

 

i think im for sure gonna try this. is it louder, or does it just sharpen up the bass response

 

Ive also done this mod. Sounds 10x better filled.

 

how much pollyfill did you but in the box?
