I took new truck from Boston down to DC on the I-95. Was a pleasure. Previous truck, Tacoma, would have worn me out (though a nice mid-size truck she was).

I am in the same boat, ordered my 2010 Platinum over here in Iraq. Got about 60+ days left until im back on the rock with my Blacnum. Can't wait to drive it for the first time!Still having issues with the VIN!

Hooah brother! Continue doing great things there! Be there very soon... What sort of VIN issues are you having? I take it you used AAFES? How was the process for you? One of my BN Chaplains is looking to use AAFES as well while there. Stoked to get the mission going!

The VIN# they issued me has not been updated yet so I can't get started on the long registration process for my home state. Keep in mind that if I was going to get it registered in Hawaii then this wouldn't be a issue at all. I am very pleased with aafes, I got exactly what I wanted with my truck, my rep answers all my questions in a timely manner and does his best to find the answers if he doesn't have know.
