Yeah, I am tending to agree with you that the satin will look better with the Candy Red on mine. I do like the PTM surround with the black grille inserts on the FX4 as that is very consistent with that model's paint theme.
MD150's Platinum looks great in black, but I think it would be too much red on mine especially since I went with the PTM red accents in the wheels too.
