Plasti Dip Emblem Painting
#32
After four coats it's done. If anyone is going to do their bumper make sure you take the tape off slow. I was excited and almost peeled part of the Plasti dry off. A razor works good. Well here is the bumper.

Thanks man how long in total did it take? I am thinking about doing it this Saturday and how many cans did you use?

That looks like a really cool product. I can think of a thousand things to use it for.
I'd be really concerned with it chipping/peeling though. If it can peel off with a fingernail, a rock will surely puncture it. Granted, I'd rather have some punctured plastic cover than chipped paint, but it seems like something you might have to reapply somewhat frequently if used on the front bumper or even the wheels.
I'd also be worried about how it holds up to repeated car washing. Maybe a gentle hand wash would work, but if you're trying to get a bug off of it, will it peel? These are all just concerns I've got - anyone have any longer-term experience with this product?
