Plasti Dip Emblem Painting
Has anyone Plasti Dip Sprayed their emblems?
I ordered some, being in Canada this crap is $23 each, but in the US it is about $6.50 Should get it Middle of Next Week!
You can spray your emblems, without removing them or taping them, and later on the "sprayed coating" comes right off. It's suppose to last long without chipping.
I am gonna try this stuff on my rims and the emblem in Flat Black.
If anyone here's done this show me some pics!
Here's a Video Example

My prep:
Take off wheels (I have heard of people leaving them on though)
Wash/dry rims
Placed rolled tape in the lug holes to simulate lug nuts.
Spray a coat
Let dry about 20 minutes
Spray another coat(I did a total of 3 coats on each rim)
Let dry for about an hour and then replace on truck.

A stupid question, but...
Is there any special procedure necessary in removing and replacing wheels on a 2011 F150? I know there are sensors in the tires--are there connectors to deal with? Do I need to retrain my wheels?
Or is it simply the same as in the old days.. jack up the truck, remove the wheel and replace it... job done?
