Default Picture Request...Weathertech floormat on passenger side...

I know...weird request, but I have my reason. I bought my new to me 2014 F150 two months ago. The truck was flawless....EXCEPT one thing. There was a spot on the passenger side carpet where the previous owner's passenger's foot must have hit EVERYTIME they got in the truck and it wore a bald spot. I had it "fixed" by a carpet guy where he shaved some areas (you couldnt tell) and put them on the spot with silicone. But that was just a tempo fix as it didnt last long.

Soooo...I was thinking of getting the Weathertechs to see if they cover up the spot. I currently have the Ford Factory mats and love them but I want that spot not to shot.

Like I said, I had it fixed as you can see here, but this as since been knocked off:

So I would like to see some pics to see how high those mats go and see if you think they will cover the spot up

Its not going to fully cover it. You will still be able to see it.

My wife's foot must have hit it pretty good. I dont think the silicone set up that well. After two weeks it was still soft

I would talk to the carpet guy and see if he can do it again with a stronger glue. The weather tech mat will somewhat protect it. Ill take a pic here shortly.

I think it may cover it up. Looking, the Huskyliners go even further back and up.

I'm very pleased with my Husky Liners, which do appear would cover that worn spot...
