You don't indicate (nor does your profile) which engine you have.

HINT/TIP: Provide you vehicle information (year, model, trim, engine, drive, etc.) in your sig', profile, and/or post.

The code should be a 4(four) character code. e.g. JAF0

Sorry about that. Its a 2014 FX 4, 5.0 , 4wd. I thought it should be a 4 digit code to buy the photos I've seen

Anybody figure this out? My truck is the same way. I just have a J there as well. Where'd the other three digits go?

Just guessing but looking at my pcm the last 4 digits of the P/N are x'ed out and the code is to the left.

Looking at yours it would seem to indicate the code is the last 4 digits shown for the part# GDLA

Mike with 5* answered this question today. He said Ford doesn't display this on our trucks for some reason. Luckily I had an old SCT tuner and was able to read the strategy number from the PCM. Then ordered the new X4 tuner from Mike.
