I have seen projects where people paint their standard mirrors to match their trucks... Anyone done this with tow mirrors? If so, pics?

 

I'll second that, I've got tow mirrors sitting at my in-laws house waiting to go on the truck but I want to paint them as well. I've seen it on a '13 F250 and it looked perfect.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing this as well. Debating either painting my skull caps, or (more likely) get the chrome caps...

 

I'm going to do this at some point still waiting to close on my house and settle in. Once that is done I'll do it but I've noticed that the black pieces have a slight texture to them so I'm thinking the best option is to get the chrome caps so they are smooth and then paint that piece to match the truck

 

I just ordered a black truck with the tow mirrors


It's gonna have chrome caps but I kind of want to paint them tuxedo black to match

Haven't seen the truck yet obviously but I'm thinking the black would be better
