Over and out
I can't begin to thank the members of this forum enough for all the help, hits, and support in the last 4 years. Today, after 23 years of driving an F150 I traded my 2011 SC EB XLT 4x4 with 80k in on a Tundra. Just too many issues:
CAC - 5 visits to the dealer
Wrangler SRA - only 20k out of them
Rear defrost on slider failed
Water pump failed
Hot / cold blend door failed
Vent -mid/feet/top blend door failed
2 speaker failures
console latch failure
warped rotors w/in 5000 miles
plugs worn out at 60,000
gas take sensor - failed (but not really, just CEL due to having key on listening to football game on radio while filling)
gas filler door failure - self repair, thanks to you guys here- just the pin popped out
service issues - twice service left bottom engine deflector parts off after oil change, entire bottom engine cover was left off after water pump repair.
Overall, I just had no confidence that I wouldn't be spending a small fortune to keep it driving for the next 6 years and 150k.
Again, nothing but the highest regards for everyone here...

Wish you the best! Our sister company ToyTec Lifts has nice stuff for the Tundra.

Good luck. May the revolving door thata this forum not hit your *ss on the way out and open itself when you (prolly) come back!! Ford has the best all around truck out there and its a shame you found a lemon but every make has them. And i still say my favorite truck ever of all time was my '98 silverado z71. But my eco will dance circles around it in every aspect...when it has 300000 miles on it.

I Traded a 2013 Tundra for a 2014 F150 Because of Issues I was Having with the Tundra..
1 Steering rack replaced a 2000 miles.
2 AIP problems at 15000.
3 Flex fuel Hard Start problem in the shop Twice and still no Fix.
4 Very thin paint. most colors have no clear on Tundras.
5 Gas Hog 7 miles per gal pulling 5500 lb Travel Trailer.
The Tundra does Have a lot better fit and finish than the F150, but the Tundra is far from problem free and is funky looking!!! Dam Japs just can,t get the styling right....I have spent Thousands of Dollars in the last few years trying to find the perfect Truck, no luck they all have problems...My new F150 goes in for a repaint Monday!!!!! Hope they get it right....

It is kind of ridiculous now isn't it. You spend $35-70,000 on a fancy new truck (truck, not some fancy European sports car) and you spend more time fixing it then working with it. It's all gone wrong since this desperate need for fuel efficiency and emissions. I mean look at the issues all the manufacturers are having with diesels these days, used to be a million mile truck was not uncommon, now it's a miracle that can't be believed!
