A little info about your truck would help. If its under warranty don't do it.

You won't be dissapointed. Mike and his folks are very easy to work with and extremely responsive if you have questions.

The warranty argument will come up. Some will just say put it back to stock before you take it in for service. I am a paranoid type, so if I ever get one I'll wait till after my warranty is expired. I guess we should ask, why are you wanting a tune? Examples.... I tow all the time, I want to take it to the track, I'm looking for better fuel economy, just want to change my shift points, Etc....

Sorry I didn't read your post very well the first time.

Ditch the 87 tunes and go with all 93! I went with 87 per, 87 tow and 93 perf. I ran the 87 for a while then I wanted to see what the 93 was all about and havent looked back since. My 2 87 tunes never get used! I need to call and get a 93 tow tune now though. lol

I am still under warranty and have had it on there for a year without any issues. The sad this is that it improves the drivability so much on these trucks, it is like night and day especially with the tranny.

People always freak out about the warranty issue but they will add exhaust, intakes, lift, tires, ect.. and technically all that goes against the warranty also. 5 Star is one of the top, they have a very good rep not just here with f150 but also with the V10 crowd with the F53 chassis in the class A motorhome world.

Still under warranty. Talked to the service manager where i bought my truck, he said go for it. Just said to return it to stock if i ever bring it in, in case they flash the pcm. He has a tuned gt and said im goin to love it. Caught a younger mechanic to the side and asked him the same. He said he has never seen them make an issue of it or look for traces of a tune. Said they dont hassle people bout it cause their rep doesnt hassle them.
