Default Oops....I couldn't help myself

....but I bought another new truck.

Was driving around with my wife and decided to cruise the nearby Ford dealership and started looking at the Platinums. They had a few and couldn't decide which color looked good when my wife surprised me about really liking the Candy Red one with the brown/black leather interior. I start talking with my salesman there that I purchased my other XLT from and before you know it, I am signing papers. Not sure how that happened.

Seriously, sold my '11 XLT on eBay and got everything out of it, and fell in love with the Platinum when I saw it again. It has the 5.0L V8, 6 Speed Auto Transmission with Select Shift, 3.55 Ratio Limited Slip Axle, Power Moonroof, Sony Navigation with Sync, Power Folding Mirrors, Rain Sensing Wipers, Power Sliding Rear Window, Heated/Cooled Front Seats, Heated Rear Seats, Interior Multi-Color Mood Lighting System, Rear View Camera, Reverse Sensing System, Power Tilt/Telescoping Steering Wheel, Power Sidesteps, Tailgate Step, Tow Package, Trailer Brake Controller, and Remote Start

Mods (in the works):

K40 Calibre Remote Radar System with Diffuser, Linex Spray-on Bedliner, Ford OE Rubber All-Weather Floor Mats, Matching Tint, Zone 2.5-inch lift (front/rear), 295/60R20 MTs, Magnaflow Stainless Steel Dual Exit Exhaust System, Smittybilt Light Bar, PIAA 540 Ion Plasma Driving Lights, and PIAA 520 ATP Off Road Lights.

I already have the All-Weather Floor Mats and Smittybilt Light Bar and PIAAs installed but have to wait for everything else to come in sometime next week. So here are some pics of my new "stock" ride for now:

Congrats on the new truck. Wish I could just buy a new vehicle on impulse. Wait, I've done that twice now..

Again, congrats. The Candy Red sure is a purdy color.

Dang...nice house. Any openings where you work? Haha. Nice truck too. I am really liking that interior, it is the first time I have seen it.

Thanks everyone! Actually, the photos kind of make the truck look a lot redder than it really is in the low light. It is much more brillant and metallic looking in person.

I really can't wait to get her finished. Still trying to decide on the tire I want but getting close.
