Default Okay let's try this again

Everyone wants to change their headlights to the factory HID. My question is what if you want to do the opposite?

Why would you want to do that??? I guess to answer your question, you could sell them, they are going for about a grand brand new and you can order new standard halogen lights from tasca parts for about $250. I feel like I am driving blind when I get in a car with stock lights!

So I guess it's not just a plug and play.

I'm not sure how the factory hid's are wired, or with what connections, I would think that the relay harness and ballasts have the same plug type (9006?) as stock so you could remove those components and the heads and put new ones in. My only true reasoning for this would be that when I bought mine, it was a $650 upgrade to do oem hid's and I can't imagine that they would configure a whole trucks wiring to be based off that alone. If you upload a few pics of the headlight connections I might be more helpful

I too would like to know why you would want to do that.

Actually you can find them lower than $1000

Definitely not how it's wired. If you haven't seen one I wouldn't be trying to give advice.

Well I guess you showed me! Yes, you can find them for cheaper, I was just listing what the general ballpark was . You might have also missed the part about me saying I wasn't sure how they were wired and asked for pics. But it seems rather than answer any of the op 's questions you just want to point out problems. So kudos to you!
